Inspiration and more information about designing jewelry with art beads

BNB-SL0211
Layers of rich colors and patterns take Jeff Barber's handmade glass beads to a realm of their own. This particular focal cone bead is striking in its unusual shape and colors. Jeff's inspiration for the bead was a King Tut exhibit. While Jeff doesn't create many finished jewelry pieces, he keeps beaders in mind when making his beads, seeking to create work that will make its mark in an unusual piece of jewelry.
