Mimic fine needlework with peyote stitch

Bargello, also called "flame stitch" because its characteristic zigzag pattern resembles flames, is an Italian upholstery and needlework stitch from the seventeenth century. In this dramatic necklace, Rebecca Peapples gracefully recreated the bargello effect with cylinder beads in staggered rows of two-drop peyote stitch.
