Try this lightweight, inexpensive beading surface.

For a lightweight, inexpensive beading surface, line a Frisbee with Vellux. Apply double-sided tape around the inner edge of the Frisbee, cut the Vellux to fit, and press in place. Make sure you get a Frisbee that is almost flat – if it is rounded or pointed, the beads will roll to the center.
